Quiet, sheepish, and withdrawn, Gara is every bit the silent type. He is dynamic in that he isn't just the shy boy everyone sees him as, but he has an extremely deviant side. Deviance in that he searches and craves for a certain type of attention. He's found himself once in the situation where he's been commanding, demanding, the upperhand to someone weaker than him, and he gets high on the rush it gives him. His erotic obsessions stem from odd things like a fetish for legs, and go all the way to natural fetishes, normal desires. Gara's personality was formed from his home life, living with a completely subservient father and a domineering mother, women as a whole to him are the ones he wishes and desires most to control. To him, they are supposed to be the subservient type, and he loves to make them that way.

Feeding off of these "powers", as he calls them, he feels as if he can become a bigger man. He never sleeps and the reason for that being nightmares, but he's dealt with the issue since he was six, so it doesn't bother him. He's never been able to sleep very much, really. Though he's avoidant and has social anxiety, he can control it. He's gifted with the ability to come across as the normal male he should be. He can one minute be the quiet boy hugging the wall and fix himself to be the polite, soft spoken erotically grotesque man he pushes himself to be.

On top of that, he's found a piece of himself that is disturbingly subservient and he tries to hide it at all costs but often times, if around someone much more dominant than him, it's able to be seen, smelled almost. He has the tendency to see things in black and white like that, dominance and subservience, due to his home life. There is one person out of all people that he feels the most feelings for and that is a man named Jack; a damaged man with many problems of his own but Gara is completely drawn to hi in ways he cannot explain.

He's been turned over by his father because his domineering mother has lost her life due to cancer. His weak father has no idea how to care for him, for he did nothing but push his own quiet, accepting attitude on his son. He can't help but feel abandoned, and there's a quiet melancholy tinge to him because of this. His father and him never truly had a good relationship, naturally distant, and thus it was more of a reason for him to be turned over. His father felt like he couldn't help his son pull out of the shell he was in, and he needed professional help that could deal with his problems.
